Bookkeeping audit trail and security, by default.
Bookkeeping audit trail and security are not a feature you turn on in Numbra, they are how it runs by default. Every action is recorded in an append only audit trail: what changed, who approved it, and when. When a client or a reviewer asks how an entry came to be, you have the answer, not a shrug.
Numbra is read first and acts never, until you say so. It is read only by default, nothing posts to a clients books without your approval, and QuickBooks access is revocable in one click. Each clients data lives in its own workspace, isolated at the database level, so one clients records never touch anothers.
Sensitive personal data, the SSNs and EINs on W-9s, is encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a dedicated key. And Numbra never trains AI on your data. Bookkeeping audit trail and security mean you can plug an AI tool into a clients financial records and still be the one accountable for every change, which is exactly how it should be.
